Propeller shaft removal, inspection, installation

    Remove in the order shown in the figure, referring to Removal Note.

SST callout marked on the propeller shaft. Torque values are given at the fastener locations: 27-30 N·m (2.8-3.1 m-kg, 20-22 ft-lb) for the flange bolts and 40-55 N·m (4.1-5.6 m-kg, 30-41 ft-lb) for the exhaust pipe nuts.

    Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.

    Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to Installation Note.
