CAUTION
• Obtain the code number and deactivate the audio anti-theft system before disconnecting the battery. (Refer to page T-113.)
• Position the hose clamp in the original location on the hose, and squeeze the clamp lightly with large pliers to ensure a good fit.
Radiator Removal / Installation
- 1Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- 2Drain the engine coolant.
- 3Remove the under cover.
- 4Remove in the order shown in the figure.

INSPECTION
Radiator Inspection
- 1Check for the following and repair or replace as necessary: Cracks, damage, and water leakage.
05U0EX-017 - 2Bent fins (repair with a screwdriver).
- 3Distorted or bent radiator inlet.
Steps After Installation
- 1Install the under cover.
- 2Fill the radiator with the specified amount and type of engine coolant. (Refer to page E-5.)
- 3Connect the negative battery cable.
- 4Start the engine and check for leaks.
