Differential mounting rubber

Differential mounting rubber removal

    Drill holes around the differential mounting rubber.
    Use a new mounting rubber when reassembling.

    Hit the edge of the differential mounting rubber to remove it.

Assembly note

Differential mounting rubber

Press in the new differential mounting rubber with the SST.
Press forcedifferential mounting rubber
2,000 (2)kg (tons)

Oil seal (Output shaft)

Apply lithium based grease to the new oil seal lip and install it with the SST.

Adjustment of pinion height

  1. 1
    Install the bearing outer race (front bearing) with the SST.
