Loosen the lower arm bolts.

Lower the lower arm to remove the shock absorber.
Do not lower the arm excessively, which may damage the brake hose.

Disassemble in the order shown in the figure, referring to Disassembly Note.

Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.

Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly, referring to Assembly Note.

Tighten all nuts and bolts to the specified torques, referring to the figure.
