SHOCK ABSORBER AND SPRING
Removal / Installation
- 1Jack up the front of the vehicle and support it with safety stands.
- 2Remove in the order shown in the figure, referring to Removal Note.
05U0RX-048 - 3Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.
- 4Install in the reverse order of removal.
- 5Tighten all nuts and bolts to the specified torques, referring to the figure.Loosely tighten the stabilizer control link bolt. Lower the vehicle and tighten all nuts and bolts to the specified torques with the vehicle unladed.
- 6Adjust the rear wheel alignment. (Refer to page R-9.)

Removal note - Shock absorber and spring
- 1Loosen the upper and lower arm bolts.
- 2Lower the upper and lower arms to remove the shock absorber and spring.Do not lower the arms excessively, which may damage the brake hose.
