Clutch hub assembly

  1. 1
    Set the 2nd gear and the 1st/2nd clutch hub assembly on the mainshaft, then press in the mainshaft.
    Pressing the mainshaft into the 2nd gear and 1st/2nd clutch hub assembly seated on a press fixture.

    Set the 3rd gear and 3rd/4th clutch hub assembly on the mainshaft, then press on the 3rd/4th clutch hub assembly with the SST.
    Pressing the 3rd/4th clutch hub assembly onto the mainshaft (with 3rd gear in place) using SST 49 F401 331.

    Install a new snap ring on the front of the mainshaft.
    Installing a new snap ring on the front of the mainshaft using snap ring pliers.

    Install the inner race, needle bearing, and 1st gear.
    Installing the inner race, needle bearing, and 1st gear onto the rear of the mainshaft.
