Rear window

Rear window removal

  1. 1
    Remove the rear package trim.

    Remove the set plates.
    Unzip the rear window, and lower the convertible top fully.

    Remove the beltline covers.

    Remove the beltline protectors.
  5. 5
    Remove the rain rail mounting fasteners from the body.
    Raise the convertible top completely.
    Leave the top latch assemblies in the unlocked position.

    Remove the rain rail from the studs.

    Remove the rivets from the link assembly with a drill. Drill size: φ4.0mm (φ0.16 in)
    Remove any accumulated dirt, etc.
  8. 8
    Remove the rain rail from the body.
    Cover the body to prevent it from damage.
    Rain rail being lifted away from the body with a protective cover placed underneath to prevent damage to the body paint.
