Top fabric

Top fabric installation

    Remove the original double-sided adhesive tape from the front header.

    Degrease the front header with ethyl alcohol.
  3. 3
    Install new double-sided adhesive tape to the front header.

    Thread the cables into the top fabric.

    Place the link assembly over the top fabric.
    Install the top fabric to the bows, beginning from the rear bow. Perform Steps 6, 7, and 8.

    Roll the top fabric over the bow retainer.

    Hang the end of the top fabric on the bow retainer.

    Clamp the top fabric to the bow with protected water pump pliers.
    Pull the top fabric by hand to verify that it is held securely.

    Affix the top fabric to the rear bow with the Velcro.
