Rear window installation (continued)

    Install the zipper stops to the rear window and the top fabric.

    Affix the rear window to the top fabric with the Velcro.

    Mount the outer rain rail to the studs.

    Mount the top fabric to the studs.

    Mount the rear window to the studs.
  6. 10
    Mount the inner rain rail to the studs.
  7. 11
    Loosely install the set plates.
    Install the set plate beginning at the left side.
    Unzip the rear window, and lower the convertible top fully.

    Install the rain rail with the fasteners.

    Install the beltline protectors.
  10. 14
    Install the beltline cover.
    Raise the convertible top completely, and lock the top latch assemblies.
    Zip the rear window into place.
  11. 15
    Tighten the set plate mounting nuts. Tightening torque: 8.8—12 N·m (0.9—1.2 m-kg, 6.5—8.7 ft-lb)

    Rivet the top fabric to the link assembly.
  13. 17
    Install the rear package trim.
  14. 18
    If there is any sagging of the top fabric, remove the pull tab and realign the zipper.
