Removal / Installation
Condenser and receiver/drier Removal / Installation
- 1Raise the front of the vehicle at least 300mm (11.8 in) and support it on safety stands.
- 2Discharge the refrigerant system. (Refer to page U-28.)
- 3Remove the splash shield and air guide.
- 4Remove the condenser and receiver/drier as an assembly as shown in the figure, referring to Removal Note.
05U0UX-061 - 5Install the condenser and receiver/drier in the reverse order of removal, referring to Installation Note.
- 6Install the air guide and splash shield.
- 7Charge the refrigerant system. (Refer to page U-29.)

Removal note
Immediately plug any open fittings to keep moisture out of the system.
Installation note
Apply clean compressor oil to the O-rings before connecting the fittings.
Do not apply compressor oil to the fitting nuts.
If the condenser or receiver/drier is replaced, add the specified amount of compressor oil.
