Measuring voltage at sample circuit points

    Use a voltmeter or test lamp to ascertain voltage at the measuring points.
    Wiring schematic for a sample circuit used to demonstrate voltage measurement. Components shown: Battery (positive terminal), Main fuse, Ignition switch, Fuse, a switching relay/contact, Motor (M), Thermo switch, and grounds (Ground 1, Ground 2).
