- 4If the marks are not aligned, loosen the crank angle sensor lock bolt, and turn the crank angle sensor to make the adjustment.
05U0FX-062 - 5Tighten the crank angle sensor lock bolt to the specified torque.
- 6After adjusting the ignition timing, disconnect the SST or jumper wire from the diagnosis connector.
- 7Increase the engine speed and verify that the ignition timing advances.

Idle Speed
- 1Connect the SST and set the TEST SW to 'SELF TEST' or connect diagnosis connector terminals TEN and GND with a jumper wire.
05U0FX-064 - 2Verify that the idle speed is within specification.
- 3If the idle speed is not within specification, remove the blind cap from the air adjusting screw and adjust it.
05U0FX-065 - 4After adjusting the idle speed, install the blind cap and disconnect the SST or jumper wire from the diagnosis connector.
