Cylinder head bolt
Cylinder head bolt — Installation
- 1Apply clean engine oil to the bolt threads and seat faces.
05U0BX-043 - 2Install the cylinder head bolts.
- 3Tighten the cylinder head bolts in two or three steps in the order shown in the figure.

Accelerator cable
- 1Install the accelerator cable.
05U0BX-045 - 2Check the accelerator cable deflection. If the deflection is not correct, adjust by turning nut A.

Steps After Installation
- 1Fill the radiator with the specified amount and type of engine coolant. (Refer to page E-5.)
- 2Connect the negative battery cable.
- 3Start the engine and check as follows: (1) Engine oil and engine coolant leakage. (2) Ignition timing, idle speed. (Refer to page B-8.) (3) Operation of emission control system.
- 4Recheck the engine coolant levels.
