Drive belt deflection
- 4Check the drive belt deflection by applying moderate pressure (98 N, 10 kg, 22 lb) midway between the pulleys, as shown. Adjust if necessary.

- 6Install the air intake pipe.
Adjustment
CAUTION
If a new belt is used, adjust the belt deflection at the midpoint of new belt specification.
(1) Alternator belt
- 1If necessary, loosen the alternator bolts A and B and adjust the belt deflection by turning the adjusting bolt C.
