Installation procedure

  1. 1
    Tighten all bolts and nuts to the specified torques.

Starter mounting bolts
37 - 52N·m
Transmission-to-engine bolts (top right)
37 - 52N·m
Bolt (top center)
64 - 89N·m
Exhaust pipe bracket bolt
64 - 89N·m

Transmission

  1. 1
    Join the engine and transmission.
  2. 2
    Install the transmission mounting bolts.
    Caution: Install the exhaust pipe bracket as shown.

    Tighten the bolts.
    Tightening torque: 64—89 N·m (6.5—9.1 m-kg, 47—66 ft-lb)

Starter

  1. 1
    Install the starter to the transmission housing.
    Tightening torque: 37—52 N·m (3.8—5.3 m-kg, 27—38 ft-lb)
