Cylinder Head Cover

    Apply silicone sealant to the shaded areas shown in the figure.

    Install the cylinder head cover.

Crankshaft Pulley

Crankshaft Pulley

  1. 1
    Install the timing belt inner guide plate.
    Timing belt inner guide plate installed at the crankshaft. An 'ENGINE SIDE' label with arrow shows the proper orientation of the guide plate.

    Install the timing belt outer guide plate.

    Install the crankshaft pulley.

    Install the plate.
  5. 5
    Tighten the lock bolts with the SST.
    SST (49 E301 060) installed on the flywheel/crankshaft pulley area to hold it while tightening the lock bolts. Tool number label '49 E301 060' visible at the bottom.

    Remove the SST.

    Install the water pump pulley.
