Oil Level Gauge Pipe

  1. 1
    Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the new O-ring.

    Push the level gauge pipe into the oil pan.
  3. 3
    Tighten the level gauge pipe bracket nut.
  4. 4
    Install the level gauge.
Tightening torque (level gauge pipe bracket nut)
7.8 - 11N·m

Spark Plug

  1. 1
    Apply antiseize compound or molybdenum-based lubricant to the spark plug threads.

  2. 2
    Install the spark plugs.
Tightening torque (spark plug)
15 - 23N·m

Water Outlet Pipe

  1. 1
    Remove all foreign material from the water outlet pipe mounting surface.

    Install a new gasket and the water outlet pipe.
Tightening torque (water outlet pipe)
19 - 25N·m

Oil Pressure Gauge Sender Unit

  1. 1
    Install the oil pressure gauge sender unit.

12 - 18N·m

Oil Filter

  1. 1
    Remove all foreign material from the oil filter mounting surface.

    Apply a small amount of clean engine oil to the rubber seal of the oil filter.
  3. 3
    Install the oil filter and tighten it by hand until the rubber seal contacts the base.
  4. 4
    Tighten the filter 1 and 1/6 turn with a filter wrench.
