Step 1

  1. 1
    Disconnect the negative battery cable.
    Photo showing the steering wheel with knee protector removed; arrow points to clock spring connectors (Orange and blue) being disconnected.

    Remove the knee protector, and disconnect the clock spring connectors (Orange and blue).
  3. 3
    Disconnect the diagnostic module connector.
    Diagnostic module connectors with labels (G/W) (G/W), 2B 2D, (BLACK), (GRY) with a multimeter (ohm) connected to check continuity between terminal-wires.

    Check continuity between terminal-wires of the diagnostic module connector.
