Step 4

  1. 1
    Disconnect the S-sensor connectors.
    S-sensor connector and harness diagram with terminals labelled a, b, c, d (and e) on a vertical connector at left, leading to the S-sensor body at right. A continuity meter symbol indicates the check between terminals (b)-(e).

    Check continuity between terminals of the sensor.

Step 4 — Continuity check (S-sensor terminals)

Step 5

  1. 1
    Verify that the S-sensor is installed properly.

    If the installation is poor, clean the mounting and tighten the bolts.

    If correct, go to Step 6.

    Disconnect the S-sensor connectors.
