D-sensor (CNT)

D-sensor (CNT) Removal / Installation

  1. 1
    Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. 2
    Disconnect the D-sensor (CNT) connectors.

    Remove the wiring clips.

    Remove the bolts and the D-sensor (CNT).
  5. 5
    Install the D-sensor (CNT) in the reverse order of removal, referring to the Installation Note.

Installation note

Position the sensor with the arrow toward the front of the vehicle.
Tighten the mounting bolts to the specified torque.

S-sensor

S-sensor Removal / Installation

  1. 1
    Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. 2
    Remove the instrument panel. (Refer to Section S.)
  3. 3
    Disconnect the S-sensor connectors.
  4. 4
    Remove the bolts and S-sensor.
    S-SENSOR mounted on a bracket with mounting bolts shown and tightening torque callout '8.8—12.7 N·m (90—130 cm-kg, 78—113 in-lb)'. Label 'S-SENSOR' visible.

    Install the S-sensor in the reverse order of removal, referring to the Installation Note.

Installation note

Position the sensor with the arrow toward the front of the vehicle.
